Managing Director / Principal & Multifamily Director of National Multifamily Management Company Both Earn Prestigious Honor

The Apartment Association of North Carolina (AANC) Hall of Fame inducted Managing Director and Principal, Kellie Falk, along with Sherry Yarborough, Multifamily Director for the Southeast, at Drucker + Falk (DF), a full-service real estate and investment firm, on Thursday, May 27th as part of the AANC Illuminate Your Monitor Series. The AANC Hall of Fame recognizes individuals in North Carolina for their contributions, accomplishments, and service to the multifamily housing industry each year.

To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, individuals must have at least 10 years of membership with at least one NC Affiliate. Additionally, local association involvement, character, volunteer service, and industry accomplishments will also all be considered as a part of the overall selection process.

Kellie Falk is a licensed real estate broker in several states and shares her talents on numerous real estate and housing boards. Along with her new induction into the AANC Hall of Fame, Falk has a longtime involvement with the AANC, including a past role as President of the organization. In 2020, she was inducted in the NC Women Business Owners Hall of Fame which honors NC’s most successful female entrepreneurs and advocates who have made significant and enduring contributions to impact women’s entrepreneurial development in North Carolina and has received numerous accolades, honors, and appointments across her local community and from multifamily organizations.

In sharing what her recent induction meant to her, Falk stated, “I am very honored, as this recognition comes from my peers in the apartment industry. An industry that I’ve spent most of my lifetime being involved in.”

Sherry Yarborough has been in the multifamily industry for over 35 years and serves as the Immediate Past President of the AANC. She is the Past President for the Triangle Apartment Association and has earned several awards and recognitions for her efforts and leadership success on both a local and national level. She continues to serve on committees and participates in lobbying for issues that affect the multifamily industry, striving to have the greatest positive impact she can.

When asked for her thoughts on her induction, Yarborough shared, “I'm very honored to be recognized for my contributions to the multifamily industry in North Carolina all while doing a job that I love.”

The company is beyond pleased to see two representatives being inducted into the AANC’s Hall of Fame, as it is quite a competitive and involved selection process. Having both Falk and Yarborough’s experience and active involvement in the industry highlighted in this way is an incredible testament to their dedication to the industry and is well deserved.
