Drucker & Falk, LLC-- a real estate firm specializing in Multifamily, Commercial, and Senior Living-- announced today the retirement of current President and Chief Operating Officer Ronald Melvin and the appointment of a new President, James E. Ledbetter. Ledbetter, former President of Transwestern in Atlanta, GA, began his new role on March 16.
With Ledbetter's arrival, Ronald Melvin has moved into the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Throughout his 36 year career with the firm, Mr. Melvin has served the firm in various roles, including Chief Financial Officer. "We have been very fortunate that Ron has shared both his talents and his calm and steady leadership presence with us," says Wendy Drucker, one of the firm's three Managing Partners.
"I am very excited that we have found such an outstanding candidate to fill my position," says Melvin. "Jim will bring a great deal of energy and experience to his leadership role, and I feel confident that this transition will be a very successful one."
James Ledbetter is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management and a graduate of Georgia State University with a Masters of Business Administration in Finance. His proven record of successful leadership in the commercial real estate arena includes executive positions with Transwestern, Insignia/ESG, and Lennar/LNR Partners.
