

MYRTLE BEACH- Two Drucker & Falk maintenance team members from Myrtle Beach, S.C., took honors in recent regional NAA (National Apartment Association) affiliate Maintenance Mania competitions. During the Myrtle Beach Association events, John Powell of Cape Landing Apartments took third place in the overall competition, which earned him a place in the National Championship to be held in Las Vegas in June 2009. Individual event winners included Cape Landing's David Thebeau, who won the Appliance Repair competition and John Powell, who took first place in Blind Tool I.D.
Throughout 2008-2009, The National Apartment Association is conducting Maintenance Mania competitions across the nation through their affiliate local and regional associations. Through this program, maintenance professionals compete in various skill based games. The Maintenance Mania competitions highlight the skill and professionalism of industry maintenance personnel. The national championship will be held at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on June 27, 2009.
