Said Company Founder and President Douglas Jemal, “we aspire to bring treasured assets back to life, with a vision to see what the asset, the neighborhood, and indeed the entire city could be and would be with the right leadership to get it there. We are proud of the completion of the CNB building and its prominent role in the
re-birth of downtown Richmond. This project started in 2004 when we met with Mr. Jim Ukrop who had the confidence in us to restore this magnificent building. We would like to thank Doug Wilder who was very heavily involved in the early days of the revitalization of Broad Street, as well as Mayor Dwight Jones, without whose effort, wisdom and foresight, this project would not have happened. We would also like to thank the entire Douglas Development team for bringing this concept to reality.”
