Bernie Popp joined Drucker & Falk, LLC in 2000. Bernie has over 17 years of experience in multi-family conventional and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties and financial management. His experience in the multifamily housing industry ranges from manager of a 312-unit apartment community to general manager of a small management company. He is well versed in all aspects of the management of multi-family apartment communities. Current responsibilities include management oversight of over sixteen hundred apartments in nine apartment communities located in Virginia. Three of these communities are LIHTC communities and all have earned the IRS re-certification waiver. Bernie was selected as the Property Manager of the Year at the 2002 Peninsula Apartment Council Expo & Recognition Banquet.

Prior to working in the property management industry, Bernie was in the United States Air Force for twenty-four years, retiring as a Colonel, with an area of expertise in budget and finance. He holds an MBA in Business and Finance.
